Roaming Photography for the Texas Advocacy Project 40th Anniversary Gala in Austin, TX

Did you know that we offer more than typical photo booth services? We can also bring the photo booth to you with roaming photography!

With roaming photography, there’s no backdrop or stationary photo booth. Instead, our attendant roams the video with a tablet and snaps photos of your guests right where they are. Immediately after guests can send the photos straight from the tablets to their phones. No waiting for a gallery link!

We love what TAP does and had a blast at their 40th anniversary black and white gala. They pulled out all the stops and rolled out an actual red carpet for this gorgeous event!

GIF Photo Booth for Geraldine’s Holiday Disco Bar & Lounge in Austin, Texas

We may not get snow in Austin, but here at Oh Happy Day Booth, we can still make your snow globe dreams come true! Geraldine’s celebrated the holidays in style with their holiday disco bar and lounge, and the event was a huge hit.

For the booth, we set up the Selfie Station with a custom snow globe template that added a sprinkle of winter wonderland magic. The guests had a blast creating their own GIFs! Geraldine’s opted to skip the backdrop and use the party as the background! We think that was a great call since the Christmas tree completed the snow globe look.

The other magical part of the Selfie Station is that guests can instantly send their GIFs and photos to themselves and share them on social media asap. No waiting until the end of the event for a gallery link (although we send that to the hosts too!). 

We love being part of holiday celebrations. In fact, we thought we’d share some behind-the-scenes snapshots of the photo booth so you can see what it’s like from our angle. Watching guests have a blast in the booth + the gorgeous Christmas tree in the background = the best view of the night!

Roaming Photography for the ATXSciWri Galaxy Holiday Party

This event was a GALACTIC success! We brought the photo booth to the guests at this fun holiday party for the non-profit Austin Texas Science Communicators (also known as ATXSciWri)! 

Our roaming photo booth is perfect for capturing the full event. Instead of staying at the photo booth, our attendant roams the venue with a camera and gathers guests together for photos. 

The guests can send the photos to themselves straight from the tablet and share them right away! No more painfully waiting for a photographer to send you a gallery link. Plus, at the end of the night, the host immediately gets a download link to all of the photographs!

Here at Oh Happy Day Booth we love roaming photography because we get to interact with guests, capture candid moments, and document the entire event. 

The ATXSciWri holiday party got the best of both worlds! They opted for roaming photography and still rented a metallic backdrop to match their theme. We got to capture guests in front of the backdrop and around the venue. Get you a photo booth company that can do both. 😉

Tropical Photo Booth Backdrop for TikTok Austin Employee Party

Surf’s up! Our blue ombre photo booth backdrop made a splash at the TikTok Austin employee party this summer!

The backdrop was perfect for the tropical-themed party, and the TikTok team had a blast with the beachy props. This whole party was absolutely unreal!

From a cornhole tournament to the DJ stylings of Brandon Williams, the official DJ for the Dallas Cowboys…TikTok knows how to throw an employee appreciation event!

The party was coordinated by The Ramsey and Company team, and they nailed it with the theme. Guests flipped for the bold summer decor, fun tropical drinks, and swag bags with sunglasses and leis. 

Our sister company, Pop & Drop, also got in on the party! They installed an epic streamer wall, balloon garland, and hanging streamers throughout the venue! Check out the recap blog on their site for more photos - we’re obsessed!

We also have to give a shout-out to all the amazing food and dessert vendors. The authentic Texas tacos from TacoMan512 were a huge hit, and how cute are the custom TikTok cookies from Hayley Cakes and Cookies?
