Photo booth attendant

We're searching for an extroverted and energetic attendant to join the Oh Happy Day Booth team! Our company is growing rapidly and we're looking to expand our team of responsible, creative, intelligent, and friendly individuals. You must enjoy being around people, have an approachable and engaging personality, appreciate a good party, and love selfies and dressing well! Your job will entail delivery, setup and operating photo booth equipment at various events including corporate functions, weddings and social parties and events.

General responsibilities are listed below. As Oh Happy Day Booth continues to grow and as needs change, the responsibilities of this position may evolve.

Hours

  • Majority of work will be performed on weekends (Friday through Sunday), with occasional work on week days.

  • Hours will vary from week to week, so this is not a full time position. Our workload ebbs and flows throughout the year, as the events industry has busy seasons and slow seasons. Busy seasons tend to be March through May and August through December.

  • Ideally, our booth attendants can work at least four events per month.

Photo booth attendants MUST

  • Be willing to pick up gear at storage facility in zip code 78665

  • Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times

  • Attend trainings/meetings

  • Maintain perfect attendance and timeliness. Because of the nature of our business, perfect attendance is a must! We cannot tolerate tardiness or no shows. Please do not apply if punctuality is not your strength.

  • Drive to the venue and return the equipment back

  • Protect the equipment

  • Set up, operate and break down photo booth

  • Create a fun atmosphere and encourage guests to have a great time in the photo booth

  • Maintain a pristine space at events for the photo booth before and during the event

  • Dress according to company's policy

  • Have reliable transportation that can fit all photo booth gear. A four-door sedan is large enough if the seats can lay down, and a hatchback is preferred for ease of loading in and out.

Our current photo booth attendants:

  • have friendly personalities, and are energetic and fun.

  • have self-starting work ethics and show initiative.

  • have excellent time management skills.

  • have basic computer knowledge; excellent customer service skills.

  • have problem solving skills and can perform under pressure well. (Technical issues arise occasionally!)

  • have experience in the events industry or photography (extra point if you provide your Instagram!)

  • are extremely organized.

  • are be able to lift 50+ pounds without assistance. (Attendants will load photo booth in and out of the vehicle and event venue. Our cases have wheels but sometimes you might do some minor lifting over curbs or thresholds.)

  • have a driver license and clean driving record, insurance on their vehicle and reliable transportation.

  • are at least 21 years or older.

Pay

  • Oh Happy Day Booth photo booth attendants are employees that will go through a training process, including being an assistant for their first three events, after which they will work events solo as a photo booth attendant. Training is required, and is paid at a rate of $17 per hour.

  • Pay starts at $17 per hour for assisting and training and up to $24 per hour once they advance to operating booths solo.

  • Payroll is filed every other week.
