cancellation & postponement policies

Especially in this season we’re in, we understand that postponements and cancellations sometimes happen. We at Oh Happy Day Booth do our best to accommodate all our clients when this happens.

If you need to postpone your rental, let us know as soon as you make that decision. You will need to sign a postponement amendment to your original contract, stating an intended new date so we can reserve it on our calendar and relieve your original date from the calendar. Your non-refundable retainer will not be refunded, but will be applied to your new rental date in full as long as the new rental date is within 365 days of your original rental date. If you’d like to push your rental out further than 365 days from your original rental date, a new retainer will be required. Due dates associated with your rental’s balance payments will be moved to 30 days before the new date. Associated postponement fees: There is no rescheduling fee associated with moving your rental to a date falling Sunday through Friday, however if your new date falls on a Saturday, a $150 high-demand date fee, payable upon signing the postponement amendment.

If you need to cancel your rental entirely, or postpone indefinitely, please let us know as soon as you make that decision. You will need to sign a cancellation amendment to your original contract. Your non-refundable retainer cannot be refunded, but we will hold on to it, and it can be applied to any other future rental within 365 days of your original rental date. In this case, you can transfer your retainer to a friend, or apply it to a different type of event entirely than what you originally booked us for. After 365 days, if your retainer has not been applied to another rental, it will be forfeited.

Any existing cancellation policies outlined in your contract are still valid.

If you have any questions or need additional clarification, please reach out to our owner Kelsey at hello@ohhappydaybooth.com.
